The Dame behind the name The owner of the company, Elizabeth aka Stella, grew up in a family of 6 in the small town of Sharon (Just North of Newmarket) with 2 brothers, one a year older, one a year younger and a sister who was several years younger. One thing that was important, being a middle child, was getting noticed. So Elizabeth would create little micro-talent shows mostly for the family and occasionally for some in the neighborhood. Throughout her life, she continues to be remembered for initiating special dress-up nights or events. Recalling the fun and enthusiasm this created on such occasions was the inspiration behind STELLA's Bella's. Stella was one of the characters everyone embraced from one of such ventures. STELLA is a no-nonsense gal who loves people and she's having way too much fun to notice that she is not “blending in”. Elizabeth's parents were also instrumental in her zest for entertaining people as they too were often throwing parties and entertaining throughout her growing up years, so party planning, and serving people has become an intrinsic part of her character. Another very important part of Elizabeth's background comes from the days of managing a full service bridal salon, which trained her in many aspects of business life. While she was coordinating various events such as tradeshows, fashion shows, and weddings, she also had the responsibility of purchasing, customer service, sales/marketing, personal training, merchandising, and bookkeeping all in an environment with constant strict deadlines. Our mission is: To provide a service that will truly help people and give them an experience that will bring a smile to their face and fond memories that will last a lifetime. STELLA'S Branding: STELLA's Bella's traditionally wear a polka dot scarf with a collared white shirt and black knee length skirt or black pants, as an aspect of their branding, but also available on request is STELLA's Bella's in their original wacky fun-wear that has brought smiles and entertainment to so many people. It can be arranged that the original Bella's come out later in the evening once dinner has been served, or they can remain for the entire event. You decide. More than just a Catering Service!
